Cho-Yau Yeung, CEO and Director of Scientific Research

CY earned his Ph.D. degree in Biochemical Genetics from the University of Texas/ M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Houston, Texas, and also holds a MSc degree in Biochemistry and BSc degree in Physics granted in the USA. He was a March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation Basil O’Connor Scholar in 1986/88 while being an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Molecular Genetics in the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago from 1985-2004 before becoming the president and Director of Scientific Research of MUNIN Corporation. He has over 30 years of research experience in human and mammalian molecular genetics, and is the co-inventor of 8 issued US patents covering 3 separate technology platforms. Over the years, he has successfully competed for and directed multiple research projects supported by grants and contracts from governmental, NGO, and commercial sources with total funding levels exceeding US$6 million. While directing those projects, he acquired extensive expertise and hands-on experience in mammalian gene expression and gene amplification methodologies, gene cloning, and monoclonal antibody production and use, and protein purification methodologies, as demonstrated by multiple first- or senior-authored published articles in major peer-reviewed journals.

Jeffrey A. Greenspan, Senior Research Scientist

Jeffrey earned his Ph.D. degree in Biochemical Genetics from the University of Texas/ M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Houston. He was an instructor at the Dept. of Molecular Genetics in the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago before joining the MUNIN Corporation in 1995. He has over 25 years of research experience in molecular genetics, and is the co-inventor of one issued US patent.

Maria J. Bobonis, Research Laboratory Manager

Maria earned her M. Sc. degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and completed all her Ph.D. program coursework in Biochemical Genetics from the University of Texas/ M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Houston before voluntarily leaving the program and becoming Research Laboratory Manager of the MUNIN Corporation. She has over 30 years of research experience in mammalian molecular genetics, with special expertise in hybridoma cloning and antibody work.

Hans Yeung, CFA, CPA, CA, Financial Advisor, Candidate for Chief Financial Officer

Hans was previously Vice President for 2 years at a boutique corporate finance firm where he led the deal execution team and assisted in business development/sales for clients raising debt or equity financing, including IPO transactions. Prior to that, he was a manager at KPMG China for 3 years leading financial due diligence engagements for international private-equity clients on both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions transactions. He also has experience in financial reporting at a large multinational company and over 3 years of audit and assurance experience at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He received a Masters of Accounting degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Honour roll 2004) and a CFA Charterholder.

Wai-Nung C. Lee, Interim Chief Operations Officer

Through association with Portman Properties, Prudential Real Estate Investments, Cadillac Fairview, Howard Hughes Properties and K Wah Properties, Wai Nung managed the development and finance of a total in excess of 2.0 million square feet of office, industrial and other commercial projects plus over 1,200 multi-family units. He was instrumental in building effective development teams including delineating and implementing organizational structure and staffing and managing key personals in development, construction and marketing/leasing. His has successfully managed projects valued at levels up to US$50 million while overseeing up to 10 professionals with up to 7 supporting staff. Wai Nung received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Illinois followed by graduate studies leading to a Masters degree in Urban Design at Columbia University. His unique skills are the result of having synthesized his academic training with hands-on and management experience in finance, valuation, construction, marketing, and leasing and property management.
